Annie Tillery
Annie Tillery

Having practiced in technology licensing since 1991, Annie Tillery is a true pioneer in Internet technology and law. As the senior licensing attorney for Netscape Communications from 1997 to 1999, she came up with innovative legal solutions to complex technology and content licensing issues. She was also the sole technology licensing attorney at PG&E and served as acting general counsel for Network General Corporation, which was acquired by McAfee. Her expertise extends to all areas of inbound and outbound licensing, and her work at Paragon focuses on handling these transactions for Paragon's long-time client Autodesk. Colleagues describe her as an extremely creative attorney who understands all aspects of an issue: the technology, the law and the business impact.

Annie’s friends will tell you, however, that her creativity and thoughtfulness stretch far beyond the legal profession. She routinely experiments with cooking new dishes and cuisines (her specialty is Indian food), and happily devotes time to volunteering at her kids' school. And as if all that wasn’t enough to keep her busy, she is also an avid swimmer. Before joining the Paragon team, Annie worked as a contract/solo attorney for a variety of leading technology companies, including Microsoft, Niku Inc., Redback Networks and WorkSpot, Inc. She earned her J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law at U.C. Berkeley and her A.B. in English from Stanford University.
